Winning instantly on Keno

TOLEDO - Robert W. Kirby of Curtice won $25,000 on the instant game, Instant Keno.
 
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Kirby will receive a check for $17,250.
 
He purchased the winning ticket from Maumee Bay General Store, 7410 Jerusalem Road in Oregon.
 
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $16 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio. The Lottery’s fiscal year 2009 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $702.3 million.
