STRUTHERS—Marijo Lendak is a 1st grade teacher at Struthers Elementary in Mahoning County. She is described as an excellent teacher who is passionate and loving. Lendak was recently named an Ohio Lottery Teacher of the Month. She represents the Youngstown area.

“She puts a lot of effort into designing motivating instruction for her students, and maintains high expectations for both behavior and academics,” says fellow teacher, Amanda McNinch.

For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Lendak will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Indians’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
