School Counselor Receives Recognition from The Ohio Lottery

Seamen... Steve Darby is a School Counselor at North Adams High School/Middle School. Darby is described by a parent as “a man above most.” “Mr. Darby has a passion for children and tries hard to make their lives a little better than they had been,” says Elizabeth Zelenski, a school parent.

Darby has a love and concern for children. He keeps a wonderful spirit and supports the students he works with through whatever trials may come their way. He is described as a “wonderful” man, mentor, and friend to many.

Darby is being recognized as The Ohio Lottery’s Teacher of the Month for the month of April. He represents the Greater Cincinnati area. Darby will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Reds’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team, and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from The Ohio Lottery.

The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year.
