Beachwood Middle School student is honored by the Ohio Lottery
BEACHWOOD Naja Davis is an 8th grade student at Beachwood Middle School. She was recently named an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery for the month of January. She represents the Cleveland area.
Davis is described as having “exceptional” study habits. She was on the honor roll the first quarter of this school year. She seeks knowledge by reading books beyond the school textbooks. “Naja reflects all of the positive aspects that we, as teachers, look for in the development of each middle school student. She is an outstanding student, has a charismatic personality, meets people very well and is able to relate her feelings and emotions to others,” says Benjamin Singer, an 8th-grade teacher.
For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Davis will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year. For more information about the program and for nomination forms, go to the Academic All Star links on this web site's home page.
